By accessing or using the SciManus platform ("Service") operated by Corella Home Trading PTY LTD (ACN 697 027 606) ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

2. Description of Service

SciManus is an AI-powered research assistant platform that provides tools for literature discovery, manuscript writing, data analysis, and research project management. The Service uses artificial intelligence models to assist users in their research workflow.

The AI-generated content is provided as a tool to assist research and should not be considered as a substitute for professional academic judgment. Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all AI-generated content before use in publications or submissions.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and keep your account information up to date. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service.

4. Credits and Payment

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed when you use AI features. Credit pricing and packages are displayed on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

All payments are processed in accordance with Australian law. Prices are displayed in Chinese Yuan (CNY) or Australian Dollars (AUD) as applicable. GST will be applied where required under Australian tax law.

Refunds may be available in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. If the Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy including a refund or replacement.

5. Intellectual Property

Content generated by the AI through your use of the Service belongs to you, subject to any third-party rights in the underlying training data. You grant us a limited licence to process your input data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The SciManus platform, including its software, design, and branding, remains the intellectual property of Corella Home Trading PTY LTD.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights • Produce fraudulent academic work or facilitate academic dishonesty • Create harmful, misleading, or illegal content • Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models • Overload or disrupt the Service infrastructure • Resell or redistribute the Service without written authorisation

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (and subject to any non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law), we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the ACL or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.

8. Disclaimer

AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. The Service does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for any particular purpose. Users should independently verify all information before relying on it for academic publications, clinical decisions, or other critical applications.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

10. Changes to Terms
